Creative Careers Carousel
We have partnered with the North East Combined Authority to run a Creative Careers Carousel here at Queen's Hall, Hexham on Wednesday 4 February 2026!
Designed for year 9 students preparing to make their GCSE option choices, this half-day event will open a world of possibilities in the creative industries, and helps schools progress toward Gatsby Benchmarks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
Students will take part in three different 30-minute workshops, each designed to give them a taster of what it’s like to work in a range of creative careers. Following the workshops, they will attend a panel discussion exploring different pathways into the creative industries, with practical advice and top tips on how to turn creative ambitions into a career.
