Red Riding Hood, the magical new Christmas family show at Queen’s Hall Arts Centre, has opened to enthusiastic audience and press feedback, with early performances winning hearts and igniting imaginations. Running until 3 January, this delightful retelling of the classic tale has quickly become a festive favourite for families across the region.
Presented by Queen’s Hall Arts in partnership with Triple Treat Theatre, Red Riding Hood invites audiences of all ages on a wonderfully whimsical adventure through the snowy woods of Northumberland alongside spirited heroine Red Little. Filled with original music, dynamic puppetry, and joyful storytelling, the show builds on the creative success of last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk.

The show is written by Bob Nicholson, Caroline Liversidge and Paula Penman, directed by Paula Penman, and brought to life by a talented cast including Bob Nicholson, Jeannie Mae, Wilf Stone, and Zoe Lambert.
Queen’s Hall also offers BSL interpreted performances on 21 and 28 December, plus a Relaxed Performance on 2 January.
