Si King: Welcome Home

Hexham Book Festival welcomes a North East treasure with his first solo title. Si King – one half of The Hairy Bikers, with the late Dave Myers - shares the food he cooks and eats at home: honest, unfussy dishes built for real life, real budgets and real families.

Still based in the North East, Si is one of the most-loved TV chefs, and has travelled the world collecting ingredients, ideas and inspiration. After the death of his close friend and cooking partner, Dave, Si has also become a champion of men in particular speaking out about both physical and mental health without shame.
