Step into the magical world of Azra Glow in this interactive family play zone inspired by the beauty of Northumberland's dark skies.
Explore circus skills, glowing props, creative movement and imaginative storytelling as you discover the magic of light, courage and friendship. A playful introduction to the world of Azra Glow before the performance at Queen's Hall on Sunday 27 September, giving families the opportunity to explore, play and create together.
Suitable for all abilities. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.

Penella Bee is a choreographer, circus artist and Artistic Director of Bee Enchanted CIC. She creates magical performances and participatory experiences that blend dance, circus, storytelling and light to inspire audiences of all ages.
Specialising in community-led theatre, Penella has over 20 years' experience creating inclusive work with children, families, older adults and SEND communities. Her projects celebrate creativity, confidence and connection, bringing professional artists and local participants together to create memorable shared experiences.
She is the creator and director of Azra GLOW, an immersive dance and circus production inspired by the books of Risaria Langley, combining choreography, puppetry, LED technology and visual storytelling. Alongside the performance, Penella delivers engaging Azra GLOW workshops, inviting participants to explore movement, circus skills, creativity and imagination while becoming part of the magical world of Azra.
Penella's work has been supported by Arts Council England, The National Lottery Community Fund and Creative Lives UK, and continues to tour theatres, festivals and community venues across the North East and beyond.
