Wes Montgomery is one of the most well known jazz guitarists in the lineage of jazz history, known for his distinct technique in playing with his thumb creating his unique sound recognisable to most guitarists of any genre.

One of Wes’ most famous collaborations was with the Wynton Kelly trio and this is the iteration being celebrated by some of the North East’s most exciting musicians. This quartet celebrate some of his most famous compositions and recordings such as Smokin’ at the half note and Full House.
