Wendy Joseph – Rough Justice: Do we have the law we deserve?

Wendy Joseph

What is justice? Do our legal courts dispense it? Has our judicial process improved, for the victims, the accused and for society?  What more must be done to ensure genuine justice is carried out in future?

Her Honour Wendy Joseph KC explores these questions in her examination of four gripping trials she presided over and excavates matching historical cases of murder and intrigue. The former Old Bailey judge, and author of the acclaimed bestseller Unlawful Killings, lifts the lid on our legal system and asks whether it delivers criminal justice for those involved, especially women and girls who are so often the victims.
