About the Speakers…
Charlie Bingham is a UK based author.
In her working life, Charlie is a digital communications and events professional and has worked with a range of charities and organisations such as Curlew Action, RSPB, NSPCC, World Land Trust and many more.
As an archaeology graduate, she has a lifelong passion for history as well as her more recent discovery of a love for the natural world and enjoys weaving accessible information on these topics into her writing and talks.
Jane Lee McCracken's art practice explores loss generated by human destruction.
She creates multi-layered Biro drawings, sculptures, installations and designs commercial products often featuring endangered species. Jane is the founder of Drawing for the Planet, a global art, environmental education and conservation charity. Founded by Jane, to share her passions for drawing and wildlife, Drawing for the Planet partners with international wildlife charity Born Free, conservationists, artists, educators and cultural institutions. Through its art, education, exhibition and conservation fundraising projects Drawing for the Planet gives children, communities and wildlife a voice. Born in Edinburgh, Jane now lives in Northumberland.
