- Main Information
Monday - Saturday (10am - 4pm)
Based in Hexham, Stage Fright CIC is a vibrant social enterprise dedicated to building an inclusive culture for individuals with learning difficulties through the creative arts.
Founded on the belief that creativity empowers, they offer a variety of accessible workshops, including drama, film, art, design, and photography, that boost participants’ confidence, self-esteem, and imaginative expression.
Their latest exhibition showcases photographs captured by participants, offering an intimate glimpse into their creative journeys.
“As a group, we love to be out and about, exploring, and developing our skills and capturing interesting subjects. We start by choosing our theme and aim to capture a moment, a detail that interests us or a view that tells a story. Our skills have developed and grown, along with our confidence! Developing our knowledge, skills and understanding, we are so proud of our achievements.
All our photographs are personal to us, whether it be exploring outdoors, a variety of shapes or a view of a place we like to visit.
Each print is available for purchase. Please ask at the box office about availability. This initiative not only celebrates artistic achievement but also supports the sustainability of Stage Fright’s mission, inviting the community to own a meaningful piece of the creativity they nurture. We hope you enjoy our exhibition."
