Roger Clough – Oldenland: A Journey in Search of the Good Last Years

- Main Information
A beautifully written and philosophical journey through the natural landscape of old age.
Roger Clough, former Professor of Social Care, spends his time learning to walk through his last phase of life in old age. Where he used to study the terrain of ageing like a scientist, now he understands it as a farmer might, walking its contours every day from his retirement village in the Peak District.
Now in his 80s, Roger shares his insights into how to have a good “old age” - the first of its kind, and an invaluable glimpse into a period of life rarely spoken about, much less written about.
