James Rebanks – The Place of Tides

- Main Information
An unforgettable story of friendship, redemption and a life-changing voyage of discovery.
Many years ago, James Rebanks met an old woman on a remote Norwegian island. She lived alone, caring for wild Eider ducks and gathering their down, a centuries-old trade in decline. Years later, Rebanks wrote to her and was invited back to witness her final season on the island. He travelled to the edge of the Arctic to witness her isolated work and deep understanding of the ancient landscape. What began as an escape turned into a profound lesson in self-knowledge and forgiveness.
