Hooky Mat Picture Workshop

Join Leanne of Hippy Lizard to make your very own hooky mat picture.

In a friendly relaxed atmosphere, we'll be using traditional rug making techniques, to create your own piece of art. By the end of this workshop you will have a lovely wall hanging to brighten up your home or give as a gift.

All equipment and materials provided, no experience needed. So all you need to do is come along and enjoy a creative morning. 

More about the Artist
Leanne of Hippy Lizard is an artist based in Rookhope, with a background in mixed arts and a degree specialising in textiles. Over the past 20+ years, she has built her own business, led a wide range of art projects and workshops, and collaborated on many more.

Her work has included delivering workshops in schools, community centres and through private tuition. Most recently, Leanne has opened her own studio, where she runs one-to-one and small group sessions.

She also creates commissioned pieces and continues to support local community art projects, with a particular focus on textile art and creative workshops.
