Drag for Poets: Writing Workshop

- Main Information
A writing workshop led by Matt Miller aimed towards creating characters and personas from autobiographical starting points for poetry or theatre.
Do characters have to be external, or can they come from elements of ourselves?
Where do we find them and how can we bring them to life and give them a voice?
Whether you’re interested in writing poetry or for the stage, join poet, theatre maker and co-creator of Fixing, Matt Miller for a writing workshop which delves into using autobiography and expanding it to give it a bit of spice.
Matt has twelve years’ experience facilitating writing workshops and projects for all ages and experience levels - this workshop is open for all - whether you’ve never tried your hand or you’re a seasoned writer, come along!
All participants will receive a free ticket to see Fixing on Thursday 6 November.
