Down Stage Youth Theatre

- Main Information
Down Stage is our weekly drama session for ages 8 – 11 years. Whilst sharing your creativity you will bring stories to life through theatre games and exercises. The sessions help you build confidence and make new friends. At the end of the Spring term the group will perform it’s own piece in our 50-seater Studio Space.
Queen’s Hall Youth Theatre groups are led by Tom Marton and Addison Keen.
Tom Marton
Tom’s practice as a theatre practitioner is founded in ethnographic action-based research pieces. He has worked with youth theatre across the North East for the past six years. Devising theatre that forefronts the voices of young people and developing a space where they have the freedom to express themselves creatively and develop personal skills.
Addison Keen
Addison first joined Queen’s Hall Youth Theatre as a member of Stage Note in 2015 when he was 12, before returning to the team in 2022 as an assistant to support across all groups. With a background in youth arts and the creative industries, Addison is passionate about helping young people grow in confidence, creativity and collaboration
