Since the early 1980s, The Comic Strip has created some of Britain's most beloved and influential comedy films, many of which are now returning to cinemas and delighting audiences of all ages.
Join us for a special evening celebrating the groundbreaking legacy of The Comic Strip Presents..., featuring a selection of classic episodes and films, personally chosen by creator Peter Richardson and screened on the big screen.
Following the screenings, enjoy a live Q&A with Peter Richardson and actor Phil Cornwell, two key figures in British alternative comedy. Discover behind-the-scenes stories, creative insights and fond memories from the making of some of the series' most iconic productions.
About The Comic Strip
The Comic Strip was at the forefront of the alternative comedy movement of the 1980s and helped transform British television comedy. Its influential cast included Adrian Edmondson, Dawn French, Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer, Peter Richardson and Jennifer Saunders, alongside regular appearances from Keith Allen, Robbie Coltrane, Alexei Sayle and many others.
