Creatives Youth Theatre

- Main Information
Take your acting and performance skills to the next level. Working as part of an ensemble, with others with a passion for theatre, you will find out what it takes to deliver high quality work. At the end of the Spring term you will perform in a contemporary play in our 50-seater Studio Space. This group supports those studying drama at GCSE and A level, and offers work experience opportunities across Queen’s Hall departments.
Queen’s Hall Youth Theatre groups are led by Tom Marton and Addison Keen.
Tom Marton
Tom’s practice as a theatre practitioner is founded in ethnographic action-based research pieces. He has worked with youth theatre across the North East for the past six years. Devising theatre that forefronts the voices of young people and developing a space where they have the freedom to express themselves creatively and develop personal skills.
Addison Keen
Addison first joined Queen’s Hall Youth Theatre as a member of Stage Note in 2015 when he was 12, before returning to the team in 2022 as an assistant to support across all groups. With a background in youth arts and the creative industries, Addison is passionate about helping young people grow in confidence, creativity and collaboration
