Hexham Lantern Parade is BACK for 2026!

Sponsored by EGGER, we're delighted to announce that the Lantern Parade will once again light up the streets of Hexham on Friday 13 November!

Northumberland artist Elaine Porter Nelson has been working with local children to create a spectacular new giant lantern inspired by Kielder Forest, which will lead this year's parade and bring a little woodland magic to the streets of Hexham!

And we're excited to confirm that Northern Monkey Brass Band will be joining us this year, bringing their infectious mix of New Orleans-inspired funk, brass and percussion to the streets of Hexham.
