Why Water Will Write the 21st Century

Russia’s war in Ukraine has seen the world gripped by concerns over energy security. And yet, there is an even greater threat ahead: the battle for water. The combination of an ever-increasing global population, climate change, industrialisation, urbanisation and limited natural resources, mean that in the future our water supplies will be more stretched than ever before. If nations will fight for fossil fuels, it is nothing compared to what they will do for the most vital resource of all. Doctor and politician, Liam Fox tells the story of water and addresses the challenges humanity faces as it runs short.
