Politics is so broken that it’s absurd. We all know we’re being massively played yet feel unable to articulate how or why.

Ian Dunt is joined by Alastair Campbell to discuss the parlous state of British Politics. We know much of what happens within Westminster walls is seedy and corrupt, but few of us understand how the British political machine operates. This is no accident – our confusion suits our rulers. In his book, podcaster and political pundit Dunt lifts the lid on how government works – and why it so often fails, while in Alastair’s book But what can I do? the question is the inspiration; a question regularly posed to Alastair Campbell, not least in reaction to The Rest is Politics.
