Fertile Ground: Dance Workshop for Over 55's

Ahead of their performance of Play, Pause, Repeat, we're delighted that Fertile Ground are presenting two FREE dance workshops for over 55’s!

Fertile Ground is an early career professional touring dance company dedicated to talent development and retention in the North East. Find out more about Fertile Dance here.

It’s an opportunity to join the company to explore the themes and choreographic strategies used when making new works for the company. The workshop is designed to cater for all levels and is a great way to learn more about the company’s creative process - and meet some of the Fertile Ground team!

The workshops take place in advance of the company bringing Play, Pause, Repeat to Queen’s Hall on Tuesday 15 October at 7.30pm. A stunning double bill exploring love and memory, Play, Pause, Repeat features two new commissions by former Rambert artist Patricia Okenwa and award-winning choreographer Jamaal Burkmar, performed by some of the best emerging dancers from the North East.

Those attending one or both of the workshops will also be offered two discounted tickets for the performance of Play, Pause, Repeat for £7 each.
