We are very grateful to our customers for your patience during this difficult time, and we are working hard behind the scenes to work towards re-opening our doors in 2021.
Email is still the best way to contact us as our staff are working from home. Email: boxoffice@queenshall.co.uk
Gift vouchers are available to buy online here and make an ideal gift. They expire in 24 months, this has been extended from the usual 12 months.
The box office will get in touch with ticket holders with news of the rescheduled date. All customers will have the option to receive a refund or venue credit if the rescheduled date is not convenient for any reason. If you suspect we don’t have your latest contact details please email the box office and we can update your record.
Yes you can use your original tickets for the new date. If you would prefer new tickets we can re-issue them nearer the date of the performance when we re-open.
It is always the last resort to cancel a performance as we are working hard with promoters to reschedule where possible. Ticket holders will be contacted by the Box Office and told of the cancellation. Refunds will be offered. Please consider if you are able to swap your booking for another show, take venue credit (valid for 2 years) or make a donation to Queen’s Hall instead of a refund. This will help invest in the future of local live performances.
There will be a small number of ticket holders that we don’t have contact details for as they may have been bought over the counter in person. If you suspect this is the case please email the box office.
If anyone is ill or self-isolating due to Covid-19, customers can receive a refund or venue credit.
When the venue re-opens government guidance on social distancing requirements will be followed. Please note that seating plans may be affected and your seat allocation may change in line with the latest government guidance at the time of the event.
We plan to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so and continue to take advice from the Government and Northumberland County Council. A time-scale for re-opening in 2021 will be added to the website as soon as there is news www.queenshall.co.uk

It is illegal to make recordings (photographs, video or sound) of any material subject to copyright. Even when people have a licence to perform work that licence does not allow for its recording. We take copyright very seriously as we aim to support artists and regard the unauthorised use of their material as an act of theft. The “intellectual property” of artists is no less valuable to them than sales stock is to a shopkeeper. In addition to protecting artists we also have a concern for the protection of vulnerable children (and adults) from unauthorised recordings which might unintentionally place their wellbeing and safety at risk.
Most of our shows are available to book online. You are now able to choose your own seat on selected shows via our online booking system. Some events, such as workshops or community events, may be unavailable and booking should be done through the Box Office.
