Wednesday 21st August 11.00am - 3.00pm
Are there any sewing enthusiasts out there who can volunteer some time on Wednesday 21st August to make up some storytelling cushion covers?
The fabric has been designed and printed by schoolchildren working with older people in their communities and is all based on favourite children’s books.
We now need people to help to sew the cushion covers and some stuffed fabric book characters. Any skill levels welcomed.
We have a couple of sewing machines but can use hand-sewing too for some detailed work. If you can offer some time over the course of the day – we’ll be working 11am until 3pm but please feel free to come along for as little or as much time as you want – we’d love to see you. Queen’s Hall will provide tea, coffee and as much cake as you can eat!
If you’d like to come along, please email Amanda Gould at QHA
