During lockdown the police have had to investigate crimes and record witness statements via Zoom. This short film, Reliable Witness, focuses on a single serious incident and how it impacts on the young people who witness it. Is their perception of what happened prejudiced by their knowledge of those involved? Whose testimony is ever really reliable?
This film is being launched to mark the anniversary of the first UK lockdown. It has been created by our youth theatre group, Creatives, who have been working on this online film project to create a piece of drama using the confines of lockdown and the Zoom meeting room as its environment. Contains some strong language.
This film was created in partnership with Queen’s Hall Arts Youth Theatre. Queen’s Hall Arts is committed to providing young people with the skills and space in which to make creative work that reflects their experiences, aspirations and ideas. We would like to thank Sir James Knott Trust for generously supporting this project.
