Re-turn is an exhibition of artwork created by students from the Queen Elizabeth High School.
The exhibition marks the return of the popular annual art show that has run for many years showcasing the school’s creative art department. The exhibition will throw a spotlight on the those who missed out from exhibiting their work after two years’ cancellation of exhibitions, missed art events and trips and the interruption to A-level art study. It is a tribute to these resilient young people who continued to make great art through the lockdowns, many going onto further study in the visual arts.
The exhibition will feature work by recent alumni from Queen Elizabeth High School, alongside current students from the 6thform. The work in Galleries one and two will be the expected eclectic mix of fine art, painting, graphic design, photography and much more.
Re-turn is just that – a return to exhibiting, a return to Hexham of a generation of young creatives.
