Ren did my eye make up too cos I’m still struggling a bit with liquid eyeliner. We forgot about shaving till just before we had to go, so I did my armpits in the sink, while Ren shaved her legs in the bath. Brushed our teeth in unison.'
My Mate Ren is raw, unapologetic, and unashamed storytelling. It’s a coming of age story about growing up in the North East. We join Alex as she tells us about first kisses, sex, tinnies, cherry sourz, and her best mate Ren.
