TRY IT FOR A TENNER!!
This season we're inviting you to try some new shows for just £10. Watch out for others in the Season!!
Hannah wants more than the repetition of daily life has to offer, and finds herself in an inventors’ workshop, opening her eyes to endless exciting possibilities.
Hannah can see freedom, and sets off on a great mission. She goes back for her friends and lets them know there’s another way.
If you ever faced a challenge, or had a dream, you’ll know exactly how Hannah and her friends feel.
This is a visually spectacular show packed with Full Circle’s usual mix of power, poignancy and humour and explores, with a bit of magic, what adulthood and independence means to them.
Devised and performed by Full Circle Theatre Company, and directed by Vici Wreford-Sinnott, this is A Little Cog production in partnership with ARC Stockton.
Full Circle have been together for eleven years but are just completing their second year as an independent professional theatre company. This performance represents the beginnings of an ambitious touring programme. They were delighted to be invited to perform In the Middle of Our Street at the fantastic Come On Down Festival at Headway Theatre earlier this year. They are really looking forward to sharing their work and meeting other learning disabled artists from the region.
“If ever there is a show that so positively, and in such a visual and beautiful way, challenges negative perceptions about learning disabled people, then this is it. It is a fantastic story, told with passion, skill, humour and Full Circle’s unique aesthetic, but most importantly, it is their story.” Annabel Turpin, CEO and Artistic Director ARC Stockton
