Saturday 20 October 9.30am - 4.30pm
The Hadrian’s Wall Archaeology Forum is an annual day conference featuring talks for the general public about new discoveries in the Hadrian’s Wall frontier zone. This year’s event is the tenth in the series and so we will be celebrating our first decennalia.
The programme of talks will include an update on the excavations at Vindolanda along with the results of new and exciting methods of scientific analysis, new and extensive geophysical surveys at Corbridge, a report on a new excavation project at Binchester, and a new study of the timber palisade along the German frontier.
[It has been possible once again to reduce the price of tickets from £12.00 to £10.00 owing to a generous grant from the Archaeology Committee of the Roman Society.]
