Tuesday 23 May 7.30pm
Proper Job Theatre Company and Queen’s Hall Arts would like to invite you to a rehearsed reading of Medusa.
This is a chance for you to get close to the creative process, and provide feedback to us and the company on the play, leading to the development of the play to be performed in full at the Queen’s Hall Arts Centre later this year (Monday 30 October 2017)
We are going to tell you a story;
One that is not often told;
The story of a woman who exacts her revenge on the men that destroyed her
and the Gods that cursed her.
We are going to tell you the story of Medusa, the truth.
Award-winning Proper Job Theatre Company re-tell this classic myth from the point of view of Medusa, as the second part of the Monster Trilogy. This modern adaptation shows Medusa growing up, in modern society and sheds light on the softer side of the ‘monster’ with snakes for hair.
