
By CarQueen's Hall, Beaumont Street, Hexham NE46 3LS. Hexham is located approximately 22 miles west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The Queen's Hall is only a five minute drive from the A69 dual carriageway. Leave the A69 dual carriageway at the large roundabout signposted ‘Hexham’ and follow the A6079. At the top of a slight rise, by the monument at the park gates, turn right into Beaumont Street. Queen's Hall is on the right hand side of Beaumont Street - opposite the park gates and before you reach the Hexham Abbey. ParkingIf you are attending a performance after 5pm, free parking is available on Beaumont Street. At other times this parking is metered. There is limited parking in the Market Place or alternatively at the Wentworth Leisure Centre by Waitrose supermarket. By TrainQueen's Hall is a five minute walk from Hexham Train Station. On leaving the station, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and turn left. After a few yards turn right through some metal bollards and head up the pedestrian path (Orchard Road) which borders the playing fields. Cross the road ahead and carry on up the pedestrian path (which turns into Hall Bank and then Hallgate.) One you reach the flat, carry on and cut through an archway (the Edinburgh Woollen Shop is on your left) and you will come out into the Market Place. With the Abbey to your right, walk up the main road (Beaumont Street) on the left hand side and Queen's Hall is opposite the main park gates. This walk is up a slight incline and may not be suitable for elderly or infirm people. By BusAlight at Hexham Bus Station on Priestpopple. Turn left and walk along Priestpopple passing the HSBC and NatWest banks, until you reach Beaumont Street on the right (this is a main road with a park on the other side). Queen's Hall is on the right hand side of Beaumont Street - opposite the main park gates and before you reach the abbey.
